Academic Programmes

Learn about the academic programmes run in the Nigerian Naval Engineering College.

My team are highly impressed with the training facility and the school dedicated staff. We believe this visit will bring us a step closer to achieving your final goal of preparing the Nigerian Naval Personnel to maintain all Nigerian Naval Fleets.” Engr David Struck, Team Leader from MTU South Africa

The academic policy of the NNEC is based on the existing standard of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), which aims at achieving uniformity in all the polytechnics in the country. The courses in the College have been designed to meet the NN and NBTE objectives. All subjects in the regular/basic courses are accordingly weighted in credit units and according to the volume of work to be covered.

The College library is available to students during academic hours and is open daily for general use. The Nigerian Naval Engineering College encourages library use and a full-time professional librarian available to assist in that usage.
