The Chief of The Naval Staff Visit

As part of his familiarization tour to Naval establishments/ships under Command, the Chief of the Naval Staff Vice Admiral OU Jibrin visited the Nigerian Naval Engineering College Sapele on the 11 May 2014. After. his walk round and inspection of major facilities in the college, the CNS had a dialogue with officers and rating in delta area at the college auditorium.

During his address, The Chief of the Naval Staff applauded the reception at the college and assured all and sundry that welfare would be improved upon and urge every Naval personnel to be up and doing. Furthermore, he said that gone are the days where laxity and redundancy was accepted or over looked but that the navy would be repositioned as a force to reckon with. He assures the officers and ratings to put the service first, and the navy would stand by them no matter what. In his words "if you think your right has been violated because as a human you have a right, if you think anyone violate it, take them to court and I would be in the court with you". The CNS mentioned that the much awaited camouflage uniform has been ordered for and would be declined and distributed soon.
