Visit of the Honourable Minister of State for Defense


As part of his visit to military formations, the Honorable Minister of State for Defense visited NNEC Sapele on 18 August 2014.

He was warmly received by the Comdt of the College, R Adm Ayodele Yusuf and his Principal Staff Officers (PSOs) and was taken around the college facilities. The Hon Minister Ambassador Musliu Obanikoro said he was satisfied with the state of the college. Although he expressed his dissatisfaction on the usage of the facility, which in his opinion was underutilized. In his words he said "This is strong facility which requires robust investment for development. The need to upgrade this facility cannot be over emphasized." He commended the staff of the college for their dedication to work not minding the circumstances surrounding them.
